I got this for a 3-day, off-the-grid kayaking trip and I couldn't be happier with it. I charged it fully before I left and it charged my GoPro gimbal and batteries, my Samsung Tablet, my Samsung S9+ each day for the entire trip and it barely used half the original charge. I did leave it in the sun for a couple of hours on the second day just to see how well it recharged via solar. Solar charging would be painfully slow if you had to rely on it, but in a "must have" situation, it'll do the job. I'm very impressed with it overall. It's built very solid, weighs just over 1lb (a bit heavy) but if you want that kind of juice, you sacrifice a bit. The Qi (wireless) charging works great. Just press the button and put your device on top and it charges; not as quickly if it's plugged in, but that's to be expected. The compass seems like a decent idea, but it falls short. While it might come in handy occasionally, if I'm lost in the woods and need a compass, I wouldn't trust this with my life; I compared it to my Garmin ABC watch and it was off by about 45 degrees. I had it charging 3 different things at once and it worked perfectly. I've used it on a couple of business trips since as well and, while it's a bit heavy to carry in a laptop bag, but it's certainly worth having it around if you're on a plane or in an airport and there aren't any outlets. The only thing I would change is to remove the compass and replace the led status lights with an LCD screen for more information on charge and status. I'm looking forward to my next trip so I can break this out and stay "plugged in". I believe it will hold up over time, but I'll report back if my opinion changes.
