These sheets are very nice. They are comfortable, thick, and luxurious feeling. They carry the official Egyptian cotton logo (look it up, its a thing), and the tag says they are 100% Egyptian Cotton. For those unaware, Egyptian cotton takes time to "soften" and become comfortable for some people. I am used to these kinds of sheets so to me, they are comfortable right away. For others, who are unaccustomed to these kinds of sheets and are used to cheaper sheets, or sheets with a low thread count, you will find that you have to use and wash them before they will become "comfortable" to you. Cheap sheets prioritize immediate comfort. These kinds of sheets, you will notice will get softer over time and after a few washes. The fabric is very thick and heavy, also very breathable. This helps you stay cool when it is warm, or warm when it is cool in the room. I believe these are a sateen weave sheet, although I cannot confirm that. They are 800 thread count so this adds to their weight and comfort. Egyptian cotton resists "pilling", something you will get with cheap sheets. In the end, its about what is comfortable to you. But if you haven't tried luxurious, high thread count, Egyptian cotton sheets, trust me when I say you will not regret it. Give them a try. I will update this review after I have used them for a period of time. 8 months later - Still very comfortable! Absolutely no pilling. Still very strong. They have become much softer since they’ve been washed many times over now. I highly recommend!
