If u r a fan of the dynasty warriors series u should love this game I am and I do. It's story is from dynasty warriors, so r the characters. To get characters or upgrade their stars u collect shards.shards can be attained several ways doing the campaign stages on hard, buying at the different types of stores, collecting them from the buy area with gold u get daily or buy with cash the gold, and every like two days is 1 free draw of general area for shards but sometimes it will spit out a general otherwise known as ur lieutenants. My might is nearing 300k. My officers I use all are at diamond 1 star which is like 4 stars after 3 it switches to diamond. Let's see there are horses u can get all though I must admit it frustrates me I still don't have one. I think it's cuz I still am not high enough level. So there is two ways to upgrade ur lieutenants strength equipping the needed item that hitting the spot will show u where to get so easy there. Equip all 6 or 8 slots ( forget which ) hit awaken and boom stronger, this way also unlocks their latent skills as they become a certain color. Other way is spend in game money which is plentiful to level ur lieutenants ( catch is they cannot be of higher level then ur main character ) then u can use said same in game money to upgrade their skills to match their level. There is world boss times and double points or money for dueling or escorting cart times. I don't know what else to say except I hope u find this useful.
