I heeded the ratings on this one's size and I'm glad I did. I usually wear an 8 - 8.5 USA and tend to border on the wide size. I bought these size 8 and that was a good decision. The width is perfect. I took out the insoles and put orthotics in, but discovered I still had just a little too much room in them. I'm using them as walking shoes and wanted them snug. I put the original insole back in and then put the orthotics in on top of them and that was perfect. They are light weight. The purple is very slightly on the red size and very bright. They look well made. Very comfortable and support where I need it from the orthotics and extra cushion this shoe accommodates.
