When my friends asked me to describe this book in comparison to Girl, Wash Your Face, I said, “GWYF is for the average woman or Mom. It’s the book that makes you say, ‘OMG, Thats SO me!’ But Girl, Stop Apologizing is the Hustler’s guide. It’s the book for everyone with ambition. It’s written for the woman that wants more than just doing the same thing every single day, year after year. This book is for the voice in the back of your mind that says, “Man, I would love to do “x” someday.” This book is like your Mom telling you it’s okay to chase that dream, your coach kicking you square in your ass to stop making excuses, and your best friend cheering you on; all in one place. Its pretty crazy to even try and explain the personal growth I have experienced since finding Rachel Hollis. I use to feel like I was on the treadmill every day. I worked hard at everything, but never felt like I could get anywhere. When I found Rachel wayyyy back, she was just stepping out of the Food Blogger role and into this new space of personal development, and I was up for it. I started waking up in the morning, I started making real big goals and then accomplishing them!! I stopped letting other peoples opinions slow me down or make me feel bad about myself.
