This stuff works. Buy it and you will be doing a happy dance on the bodies of dead fleas. I had a minor infestation of fleas in two specific locations, a spot in the backyard on pea gravel and a spot in the garage. They were the crazy, tiny, black acrobatic fleas and their bites were more like a tiny welt and did not itch. I spread dry Borax soap over the garage floor left it fir two days and then hand scrubbed it into the floor and mopped it up. No results. I sprayed Home Defense. No results. I sprayed Black Flag Flea and Tick. No results. I sprayed Raid. No results. By no results I mean that there were still fleas jumping on my socks and ankles. I presume those sprays did do something as the infestation was not spreading or worsening but it wasn't getting any better. I received the DE and went to the dollar store to buy funnel, giant shaker, mustard squirt bottle, face mask to use in application. In reality the most useful item was the face mask. I ended spreading the DE by disposable gloved hand all over the cement garage floor lightly brushing it about with a broom and left it for 48 hours. While I was spreading the DE I had about 15 fleas on each sock, more than I had ever seen at one time I brushed my hand down each sock and within minutes no fleas were on my socks. After 48 hours I swept out the garage. I took the dust pan collection of DE and I sprinkled it outside on the pea gravel. The entire time I was in the garage sweeping up.. NO FLEAS! This stuff worked for me and it did so quickly and easily. I was lucky the fleas didn't make it into the house but if they return I wouldn't hesitate to sprinkle this stuff all over the carpet one night and vacuum it up the next morning. The DE has the consistency of a thick flour and sprinkling and squirting weren't that easy, I would suggest hand broadcasting and disbursing with a broom. Worked for me.
