This bed frame is amazingly sturdy and quiet, just as advertised. Assembly was very easy and straightforward. Once I got it together and put the mattress on, however, I ran into issues about a week in. There is a fix, just make sure you budget for it. The slats are narrow and spaced pretty widely. When using a box spring or a spring mattress, this is not an issue. If you dare use this bed frame with a memory foam mattress, you will run into issues, however. After a week or so I started waking up with horrible pain in sections of my back, shoulder, you name it. (I had the mattress on the floor for a couple of weeks without issue. New mattress.) Turns out, memory foam mattresses form to the slats and slip through. When sitting on the bed, I could feel about 6" of the mattress sticking through the slats. I went out and got some plywood, cut it to fit, and have been sleeping great ever since, but know ahead of time you will need to reduce the gap between the slats if you get a memory foam mattress.
