A suggestion please...
How about this, people...when you write a review that talks about how you slept freezing cold using this sleeping bag in 25-30 degree weather, how about you let the rest of us know whether you were sleeping in the open? or using a tent? a bivy? a sleeping pad or not? etc., etc., etc. How are the rest of us supposed to make an informed decision based off of complaints with no details?! I was unsure about purchasing this bag based on some of your reviews, but I got it off of craigslist for a really great deal. I have taken it backpacking, I frequently use it with a Thermarest Trail Scout pad and a Backside T-7 bivy tent, and it has performed admirably. I have been very comfortable in temps down to about 10 degrees with it (haven't used it in colder temps yet--I think I would be all right to go a little cooler). But in combining it with a good quality pad and tent, you'll be just fine. Oh, I also wear long wicking underwear and clean, dry socks when in the bag. Also, FYI I am 6'3" and 225 lbs, and the bag fits snugly, but comfortably for me. Anyway, do these things, and with this bag you'll be in good shape.
