I can’t say this is the best dog muzzle because I haven’t ordered any other, I haven’t needed to. My pup has grown into a size 5 and I wish I could order just that size, I would order several and keep as backups when I lose one, but seems they only come in a variety of sizes in a pack, so I will donate the other sizes to my local shelter. So about this muzzle, I purchased the set a couple months ago (not knowing then what size to get) because my then 4 month old ACD was constantly jumping up and nipping at the leash when I would take her out. She would run circles around me and I just couldn’t stand for that. Reprimanding didn’t work (I am taking her to professional training now, she so the most hyper and stubborn dog I have ever had) so when I got these muzzles (so inexpensive so I was doubtful) I found the appropriate size and wallaaa, not only did it fit perfectly, the result was like one of those “thunder jackets” that are suppose to work. The muzzle calmed her right down and she is so quiet with it on, walks right beside me like she is the perfect dog. The first few times I put it on her she tried to get it off but to no avail, to my surprise because she is a chewer, she had chewed up 5 beds! Another reason to use one. She is now 6 months old and I use the muzzle when she is inside and she not stop barking at the cat or she nips at my husband when he tries to let her, she is not being aggressive, just her way of saying “I love you dad!” This is Dixie, my extremely high energy ACD!
