My only complaint about the actual item is that the LED indicators ended up being on the bottom when plugged it into my vehicle, so I could not see if they were on or not. I think it would have been a much better design to put them on the end so that no matter the orientation they could be seen. It had a slightly tight fit but it worked as intended. The recommended app is bad though. It is not currently up to date with recent versions of Android as of 2/21. Also the permissions it wanted seemed suspicious. It wanted access to my location, content on my phone, and to be able to manage phone calls. I see no reason why an app designed to read my car computer would need that information. But since you can use any app I just went with another one. I give kudos to them for not forcing you to use just one.
