The new way of seeing us together, working for what is good in the world
Since my teens I have read Carl Jung, Nietzsche, Dostoevsky, Taoist and Zen literature, many psychological works and books on evolution. I am now 65 and for the first time this author comes along and puts it all together in a coherent and practical way by which to live life and put the collective wisdom into practice. Not only that, he presents it in a way that should not be polarizing/divisive as almost every other body of thought currently is. No left or right wing agenda, just a way to embrace the impossible humanity we all inherit at birth and do something positive with it, not just for the individual but for the vast community at home and abroad. He writes at a time when many chaotic elements threaten the core stability of our culture. He venerates the past while noting that it is always a work in progress that all share the burden of perfecting and refining. If you have not seen or heard his many lectures on YouTube you should. They help flesh out what is so well distilled in this book. I can only hope that this way of thinking can become the basis of a new way we can all come together and work for the improvement of all.
