this product is fabulous. I am an LPN and often have to take temperatures and people don't like the ear thermometer. This lets me get an accurate temperature without touching the patient. It has made my job super easy because I can always get a patient's temperature because I do not touch the patient. My facility had a similar product but you could not change modes easily. This allows you to change Fahrenheit or Celsius depending on what you are measuring. My facility's product got stuck on Celsius and you had to do the calculations for Fahrenheit .It was a pain but this easily converts between not only the temperature mode but you can measure the ambient temperature of the room or a surface. I constantly recommend this product to my nurse friends they love it to.
