I had used a Dyson hair dryer and loved it. There is no way I would pay $300 for one though. This dyson-a-like is perfect for me. I like the attachments and they stay put with a twist unlike dysons magnetic hold...which doesn't work for me. My technique at drying is enthusiastic shall we say. It is slightly less heavy than my last dryer which makes more complicated styling less tiring. I appreciate the very long cord it allows more movement during drying. I will edit this in a couple of months to give an update. Very happy with my purchase at this point.
