This desk was easy to put together and seems to be good quality. I love that the top lifts up so that we can store away the many papers that my daughter hasn't finished yet. I first looked at some desks that had drawers, but they were all much larger. This fits better in the space we have, but it still has decent storage. I also like that there is a section at the back of the desk that does not lift up so that you can store items there. It took some measuring and searching, but I found some containers that fit along the back to hold her markers and crayons. For reference the back non-lifting section is around 21.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep (3.25 inches to the hinge in two places). I bought three organizers to put along the back to hold her markers and crayons.
