Of all the decorative/fun kitchen utensils I've purchased, this is my favorite. It's actually sturdy, properly sized, and does the job that it's supposed to do. Plus come on! It's a Pastasaurus! Update - I purchased this back in June 2015. It is now September 2016. Time for an update! The pictures posted with this review were taken in Sept 2016, but I have to admit that this thing looks exactly the same as it did when I ordered it. I like to follow up on items that impress me after a great deal of use, and this is one of those items. We have affectionately named ours "Phteven," and he's part of the family now. Absolutely no signs of wear or staining after probably a hundred uses - getting pasta out of boiling water, scooping pasta that's been mixed with tomato-based sauce, using as a substitute for just about anything that requires a slotted spoon, and dozens of trips through the dishwasher.
