My partner and I transcended through time and space multiple times throughout our first watch. The acting, the gay pining, the history, the friendships, the acting, the MUSIC. Everyone involved should be so damn proud of themselves: the researchers, producers, craft services, writers, actors, y'all did the damn thing. IT WAS REAL, and no one can ever take that away from us. So thank you, Abbi and crew for injecting one of my favorite stories with such care, humor, and love. We know queer and trans people have always existed, we know they have loved and persevered through time, but to have a show that not only includes those stories, but catapulted those narratives to the fore front is truly a moment to remember. It is a love letter to queer and trans people. Queer people deserve to be the heroes, the main characters, the comic relief. We deserve all those things.
