My senior chihuahua was having symptoms of heart worms. Hacking all the time, difficult breathing, loss of appetite and lifeless. His stomach was huge and appeared to be filling with fluid. I read an article about a man who saved his dog from heart worms after the vet wanted to put him down by using wormwood and black walnut so I though what could it hurt at this point. At first I had to put the capsules down his throat but after his appetite picked up I could disguise in a weenie. I gave 2 capsules twice daily for 14 days then skipped one week and repeated. He is so much better. Appetite is back and he actually plays. I believe he would have been dead in a matter of days if I hadn't of started this on him. I now do the 14 day regimen on both my dogs once monthly as preventative. I open the capsules and mix in their food. It has a strong clove odor but they don't seem to mind. I highly recommend this product and hope my story helps someone else with the same issue.
