Holy crap, this thing is effective. As an epilator, that is. Haven't used the scrub brush thingie yet. It was delivered yesterday, and I charged it overnight and gave it a go this morning. I have a lady beard. Not just a few stray perimenopausal chin hairs, but enough thick, dark hair growth to constitute a goatee/mustache if I let it go a few days. It is something I have battled since my early 20s and has gotten significantly worse as I age. I have waxed, done several rounds of laser hair removal, yada yada. I tested negative for PCOS, and yet still I have a faint five o'clock shadow on my chin daily. It's revolting and I am extremely self conscious about it. I usually shave every morning in the shower. This little epilator is amazingly effective, even on short 1 day chin hair growth. And yeeeeeeooooooouuuuch, does it ever hurt! OMFG, the pain. I have only been able use it for a couple of minutes at a time because I am a complete and total wimp, so I can't testify as to how long the battery lasts on a full charge. But I am extremely impressed with its initial performance. Yanked the hair out quickly with just a few passes over the same area, much more effectively than any other epilator I have tried. FYI, I am writing this review as a way to procrastinate using this device again because of the pain.
