I am an Emergency Medicine resident about to start my final year. Needless to say, I've been through my fair share of trauma shears. I've had the lowly drug rep shears to the run of the mill medical supply store shears, to the titanium shears my residency provided, and finally got these. I can say without a doubt, these things are the best. They will cut through anything you'll ever need in a trauma. Any piece of clothing is destroyed by these babies. It will cut through jeans, double layers of clothes, and even belts (sorry whoever's belt I destroyed). I've been using them for about a year now without any noticeable drop in performance. I've let people borrow them and each is amazed at how great they are. I just made sure that they gave them back! They look nice too. All black. A real eye catcher. Throw this in with your all black Littmann stethoscope, and you'll be styling in the trauma hall. People may gripe that they are $13. That is a little pricey for trauma shears. But I feel they are well worth it. You won't be buying a new set any time soon.
