* 22" BED vs 24" BED * PLEASE READ DIFFERENCE *
UPDATE: Because I purchased a 24" Midwest Deluxe Bolster Pet Bed and about 6 weeks later purchased a 22" Midwest Deluxe Bolster Pet Bed, Amazon only allowed me ONE REVIEW. I gave a FIVE STAR REVIEW for the 24" bed (you'll find that review below.) But, the 22" inch bed is only a THREE STAR REVIEW and let me explain why. As other reviewers have noted, the 22" bed is smaller than the size that is noted on the description page. It is not as well made and seems to be thinner than the 24". Therefore, I have to give the 22" bed a THREE STAR REVIEW. My advice is to purchase the 24" Pet Bed and forego the purchase of the 22" bed.
* REVIEW ON THE 24" Midwest Deluxe Bolster Pet Bed:
This is not heavily padded in the "Bed" area, but I expected that. So, we wanted this to go into one of the dog houses, because the floors get cold. We'll be putting a blankie on it for him, but this has nice water proof material on the bottom of it to keep it dry. So even if it rains outside, any rain that might come up between the floorboards won't get him wet.
It's a nice large size and appears to be well made. We have a much more expensive well made indoor pet bed (not really worth the money), but he loves that too much and wouldn't like it moved from "His Spot." Animals are so controlling. Or maybe we're just pushovers.
I recommend this, especially at the price and these are a nice size. They also don't have a "Smell" like the materials in some pet beds. Don't even get me started on how I bought a hugely expensive pet bed several years ago for my 20 pound cat and he proceeded to walk over, sniff it and PEE all over it. GASP!!!!
