This Geiger counter seems to work well enough, providing good, clear information. I'm impressed how good it seems for the price. Before receiving the device my only concern was the lifespan of the battery and the difficulty in replacing it. I assumed it would be an unbranded Chinese lithium cell and therefore probably crap. As it turns out, the battery may be crap but is a fairly common type of lithium cell (i.e. 18650) that can easily be removed and replaced if needed. I have provided a photo showing the battery and its compartment, for those interested.
