Do you like heartwarming movies with happy endings? Then this is the movie for you. I'm going to start off with a confession, I hate war movies. This is NOT a war movie. It's the story of a Pentagon worker and the friends of an Air Force pararescue officer who are trying to get him the medal of honor. Hearing his story, the truth of his heroism, tugs at your heartstrings. William H Pitsenbarger was a true America hero. I'm so happy that his story finally got told for the world to see. It may only have a 60% critics rating on rotten tomatoes (they thought it was too emotional), but the actual audience gave it a 96%. This movie is truly fantastic. I can quite honestly say, this is the best movie I've ever seen. I usually hate movies that make me cry, but this one was so good, I don't even care. My biggest thing with movies, is would I watch it again. The honest answer for this is YES. I would watch this movie over and over, it was that good. If you haven't seen it, I suggest that you do. It was beautifully done, it's emotionally engaging, and it honors a hero. I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this movie except that it wasn't in theaters long enough and didn't get as much press as it should have. This is the kind of movie that should win all the awards.
