I find that wearing it to the PO or grocery store does NOT bother people. One elderly woman wanted to know where I got it. IMHO, they all should have one. One benefit, it flips down easily and stays down if you are just walking around, flips up easily if you need to talk to somebody. I also use a mask. Considering that the alternative may be death, seems like a good product.
