Does not fit - REVISED. DOES FIT!
REVISED - I found the solution to the problem described in the PRIOR REVIEW below. I knew there had to be a solution to the problem, which I found at a local St. Petersburg plumbing supply store, not a Home Depot. The Home Depot associates are nice and all, but they're not plumbers. So when you explain your problem, they don't have a lot of experience to draw from. The plumbing store knew exactly the attachment I needed and it cost $3.64. In the photos with this review, the first four show the stationary tub hose I was trying to attach to. The fifth photo shows two brass attachments; the one on the left shows the attachment you get wth the Python and the one on the right is what the plumber at the supply house found for me in 15 seconds. Photos six and seven show the brass attachment and then the Python green attachment attached to the stationary tub hose. Everything works perfectly now so I have changed my rating to 5 stars. Just know this. If you’re trying to attach the Python to the hose from which you removed a center spray handle, you are going to need to buy another brass adaptor to connect the green Python attachment to the hose. It's a one-half inch male brass connector. I am sure they have them at Home Depot. It's just that it took talking to a plumber at a plumbing supply house to find exactly what I needed. If you're not going to attach the Python to a sprayer hose-type connection either at your kitchen sink or stationary tub, just make sure you have a faucet that has an aerator that can be unscrewed from the faucet. That's the only place that the Python-supplied adaptor will connect to. By the way, I received a flyer in the mail from Python. See the eighth photo. They must be getting a lot of feedback that their connector does not fit to many faucets because they are now selling optional attachments from their website.
PRIOR REVIEW - I have no idea how these other people are connecting this device to their faucets, but my house is semi-modern with Moen faucets including spray-type faucets in the kitchen and laundry room. We have attempted to connect this thing to every faucet in our house and nothing works. We also went to Home Depot in the hopes of finding an adapter for the stationary tub. They looked at us like we were from Mars. I have attached photos of the stationary tub that we were trying to attach the Python brass adapter to with no success. The diameter of the brass Python attachment is too big to screw into the attachment on the stationary tub hose. If anyone has any ideas after looking at the photos I would greatly appreciate it. Also, if anyone has photos of how they are successfully attaching this thing to a faucet in their house I would be very interested in seeing them. Email photos and suggestions to lauren9409 at hotmail dot com. They would be greatly appreciated.
So, basically, this thing is useless and unless I can find some sort of an adapter or another way to attach it to some other fsucet in our house, it is going back to Amazon. The lesson here....make sure you know that the Python attachment can fit on one of your faucets that are near your tank before you buy this.
