I love this vacuum! It sucks...in a good way. My house has not been this clean and free of dog hair and bird feathers ever! I am a vacuum hoarder...according to my husband. I have to admit I have probably owned almost everyone out there. My last one before this, the shark rocket pet model, was and is good and I do love it...but the cord! I am on one floor and my rooms are large so plugging and unplugging and getting caught on stuff is a pain. I grab my little Bissell ICONpet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner and away I go !! I zip from room to room in no time, so effortlessly I use it everyday. My floors are spotless. I read complaints about the battery not lasting long but I haven't run out while cleaning yet. I was surprised how well it went from carpets {thin and thick} to bare floors. Also I not only picked up the hair from my constantly shedding lab to picking up bird feathers and crumbs from the birds cakes {usually a vacuum is good for one or the other}. Another plus..the air vent is at the top so it doesn't blow those tiny down feathers around the room like my other vacuums did. Over all this had been one of the best purchases for the price that I made all year.
