Speaking from the experience of someone who has severe scoliosis, this futon is pretty comfy and I like how you can feel the firm support underneath without hurting your hips. That being said, I definitely recommend having something else underneath if it’s on hardwood floors. When I had it on the hardwood floor I had to have many blanket providing support in various places because my spine would hurt if I didn’t. When I used it on carpet it was much better and even more so when I added underneath a foam topper and a down topper. After that, it was super comfy except you need a specific pillow or else your neck will hurt. The product itself is very nice and I’m glad I chose this one over the others.
