All I can say is I love this diffuser....I had 4 water diffusers and they all stopped working...This diffuser uses no water, which makes this wonderful because it uses air and vibration to diffuse the oils. You can really tell the difference in the strength of the oils. The water diffusers diluted the oils. This diffuser does not dilute the oils. It runs for 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off for 4 hours, then shuts off automatically. When the diffuser is not on you can still smell the oil really well. I does make a low humming noise when on high, but on medium to low you can barely hear anything. I love it and have used it for about 4 days now. So far I love it!!!!!
