Pros and Cons: 1) The black bookcase cost $63.99. 2) The bookcase is very easy to assemble. (I read a lot of reviewers whining about how hard it is to put together, a screwdriver and a hammer.... oh yea... a little common sense) 3) The bookcase is made out of particle board and laminated black. (refer to #1) 4) The bookcase probably won't hold 300 pounds per shelf, not even 100 pounds per shelf. (refer to #1) 5) The bookcase had flimsy packaging and the box was damaged. Luckily the particle boards were not damaged. (refer to #1) Note: This is a cheap bookcase. Exactly what I thought it would be and perfect for what I wanted it for. If I wanted an expensive bookcase, that supported a lot more weight and was made of solid wood construction; I wouldn't have shopped on Amazon for a cheap black bookcase. If you are not looking for a cheap bookcase, DON'T BUY THIS ONE! REFER TO #1 AND THAT IS THE DELIVERED PRICE IF YOU ARE A PRIME MEMBER!
