So at this point, i haven't put a amp on them, but they hit low. Yep, i think the difference would be the amount of power you can use. Also, a 15 would fill the room 100%, but this 6.5 feels like to me, fills the room at 30-40%. Which is going to be perfect for me because, i don't want to be super loud, just low within my car. Drown out road noise, and go low. I love'em.
