First, It is a must to follow the directions with this product; once you do, the film is easy to use. I applied this film on the windows that are on the sides of my front door and it looks great. Strangers can no longer look into my home when they knock on my door. I also used it on my patio doors and wow, my patio doors look amazing. The tint is very dark 5% VLT, my home seems cooler because of the film. After I did the second window, I felt like a pro. I am considering purchasing another roll for my living room windows. I love the mirror effect this film has. Now this part of my review is important. At night, you can see through the window if the lights are on. If your lights are off on the inside, it is impossible to see. This film allows you to see the lightest area. For example, if you are outside in the dark you can see the lighted room on the other side of the film and during the daylight hours you can see all that is going on outside but no one can see in.
