Maybe I am a fool, but I work with things like these for a living, albeit not this exact model/brand. When I think of a mesh network, I think of an extender THAT DOES NOT create a separate network. For example, MyWifiNetwork_EXT. This is not a mesh. A mesh should connect, and then simply be invisible, while extending your existing network. I added this quite simply using WPS, but it does not work as a mesh and the only reason I purchased this item is to have a mesh network. On the box and description it says you can seamlessly switch between locations of your home where you have these, and sure, you probably could if it WAS ACTUALLY the same network and NOT an _EXT one. Look elsewhere this product is the same as off brand, cheaper options. I can't believe that I made this mistake when all I do is recommend mesh networks to my customers. UPDATE: I have checked in the app, and apparently my router is not supported for their "OneMesh" format, unfortunately. Updated my star rating as it was easy to set up and considering I am simply using these for cameras, it will work just fine, but still, you can find a cheaper option than this with the same speeds.
