I really like not have to tie the bottom of the continuous feed bags that are made for the litter genie. However, I have found the manufacturer's claim that any bag can be used with it to be inaccurate. Grocery bags are too thin and far too short. They tend to rip on the bottom seam. Also 4 gallon trash bags are too short and will not stay in place. By trial and error I found that a plain 8 gallon (medium size) trash can liner works the best. I think over time the adapter will prove to be a cost affective alternate to the continuous feed bags. Just a word of caution, don't use super cheap dollar store trash bags, they are too thin. They don't have to be the big name brand either. A store brand or generic trash bag that is at least .60 mil work very well.
