Since moving back to the city- of course there is no more "country" for CC ( my dog) to go potty in-- can't let him out freely or on a tie down any more- in addition with the colder weather I couldn't see myself going outside ( I live in Ohio) every two minutes to allow him to relieve himself. I made it my mission prior to moving to find a solution, and I did just that!! I researched and researched and found this product. I was skeptical at first, but ordered it any way because it had such amazing reviews. I received my shipment today- I bought three of them to get started- probably over kill- but I wasn't sure if he would take to them right away so I wanted to cover a larger area. I bought them right here from Amazon and with shipping for all three it cost $87.00, again this may have been "over kill" but I thought if this works it's worth every penny! And it DID! To my AMAZEMENT- I un-boxed them and put them on my balcony- let CC (my dog) sniff them for a few minutes and kept saying "Go potty CC"-- and within minutes he did just that!! It was amazing and of course I made a HUGE deal out of it and gave him a treat! These are actually "patches" of real grass- they come in a coated box, in which you simply take the lid off, lay them down and train your dog to potty on them anywhere and at any time. Then- you pick up the "poop" just like outside and throw it in the toilet- or trash, and when they get used up with peeing ( takes about two weeks) you simply put the top back on and throw it in the trash, that's it. It's amazing ( if I haven't said that enough already) and it really does work! I didn't want to buy the "synthetic" grass because of the smell and odor I had heard and read about- so I opted for the real grass and in case you don't believe me (LOL) I took a picture ( see attached) from today (02/06/2015) and less than ten minutes of putting it out and he used it immediately. No more going outside in the freezing cold- just open the patio door and Walaaaah! Fresh patch!! No odor, no mess, no smell and when you are done you simply order your next one! You can get an "auto shipment" too- one delivered every two weeks- so cool! I am a REAL customer and this is a REAL experience and REALLY did buy it right here at Amazon. I was shocked and so very happy! What an awesome idea and product! LOVE IT!
