I bought these because my co-workers are noisy and I needed to concentrate. (To be honest, I was kind of trying to be obnoxious about it.) I never knew how noisy my environment was until I put these on! It's so much easier to do productive work when I'm not dealing with noise. The product blocks out just enough noise. I can still hear my phone when it rings. I can hear when there are people having conversations around me, but the earmuffs block out enough to keep it from being distracting. They're not excessively tight on my ears or my head. I'm really happy with these and I think every cube farmer should have one.
