I actually have the 2" and it is by far the best curiling iron I have ever used. My hair is the type that has always been hard to curl even with a "gallon" of hairspray, it just would never hold. (I have long/thick hair) I barely put any hairspray on and my curls were awesome loose curls. I plan on getting the 1 1/4" inch one also for some tighter curls. You know how the skinny ends of your hair you usually have to use your fingers to wrap the hair around because it will slide right through? That didnt happen with this. No matter how skinny the ends of my hair were or how skinny a section of hair I did, the curling iron gripped the hair right to the very end so I never had crappy looking ends or burned my fingers wrapping it around. I have nothing negative to say about this curling iron at all.
