My last rower felt stiff during the pull, but not this one. Even my wife loves how smooth this rower is and she's used only the water rowers at Orange Theory for the past year! Based on the pictures, I thought you could storage it by simply folding it up but you actually have to detach it which is really just a matter of unhooking the seat portion. Surprisingly, this was all but assembled when I unpacked it; steps 1-7 were already completed and all I had to do was attach the legs! I'm 6'3" and you can see from the pictures this is no problem for us tall folk!
