My kids (6 and 4) were very excited for this book to come in the mail. I love the brightly colored pages and the simple and clear illustrations. I have to disagree with the reviewer who said kids would not be interested in the level of the material. While my kids may not be able to grasp "a trillion" for example, they listened and absorbed what they could. This is something I see us revisiting a number of times as they grow. I like the activity ideas that are simple enough for them to do on their own or with a little help. This is a paper back book, buy the pages have a good feel to them and they are a bit thicker and sturdier than typical paper. In other words, I feel like this book will hold up pretty well to a couple of kids using it.
