I just took down a review I recently wrote, when my 2 1/2 week old fan stopped working, and the distributor selling through Amazon refused to do anything about it, since we'd had it more than 14 days. I was very upset, and thinking that this was Vornado policy, wrote a scathing review. I hereby repent in dust and ashes! (Extra credit if you can identify the source!) Vornado got in touch with me, pointed out that their warranty is 5 YEARS (slightly longer than 14 days!), and confirmed that they fully stand behind their products. After a brief chat and a few emailed photos, a new replacement fan is on its way! So not only is the design of the Vornado excellent for moving air around a room (as I said in my first review), but Vornado really stands behind their products! You can buy with confidence, knowing that if anything goes wrong, Vornado will be there to take care of you.
