You have never seen a shorthaired cat with as much fur as mine. She has the densest, fuzziest coat. I got this brush to try to help her avoid hairball issues, which it does, but the real treat is how much she loves being brushed! We've had other brushes that were only tolerated on her back and sides of her face. With this Hartz Slicker, she comes and stands on my lap, patiently presents both left and right sides for thorough brushing, then settles down and purrs like a maniac while I brush her face, throat, chest, belly, arms, legs and tail. The brush takes a huge amount of fur from her coat every time. The real treat is how much she loves it. Plus she hasn't hacked up a hairball since we got it.
