Going Back to My 1 Cup of Coffee a Day
Did nothing for me.
I typically drink 1 cup of coffee a day, and was thinking I would replace that with this, as I typically get a noticeable crash later in the morning/early afternoon, and was hoping this would prevent that. Additionally, I rarely drink soda, if anything may be 1 can equivalent every few days.
First try was a half scoop, as suggested on the label, and I noticed nothing. In fact I drank a coffee about 2-hours later because I wasn't noticing any results. Fortunately, I also didn't have any surge of energy, jitter-ness, but did have my typical crash a few hours later.
For the next 2 days, I did a full scoop in the mornings, and honestly notice nothing. So I've gone back to coffee, since it actually does something for me.
Today, I did a full scoop once I got home from work, since I have homework, and want to avoid coffee in the afternoons, and I fell asleep on my couch!
The label says to take 15-30 minutes, "before mental performance", but no amount of time has proven to me any increase in mental performance.
The taste is fine. I'm not a fan of watermelon "flavor", but it is palatable, it doesn't taste like medicine to me. Only issue is that no matter what I seem to do, there's always some undissolved powder at the bottom, which provides for a nasty kick at the end.
Packaging was a bit suspect though. The container was coated in the powder, and it was all over the thread of between the container and the lid. At first I thought the seal on mine was broken, but when I wiped all the excess off, and checked the seal it was fine. I suspect the excess had something to do with the packaging process.
Overall, wasn't worth the money for me. It may be just me, and I may see if anyone else I know wants to give it a try, but who knows.
