I was so excited to get my Evapolar cooling damn, so I could place it beside my bedside at night. I tried it during the day to see if it would cool the area. After inserting the water (easy to do using a bottle), I could feel cold air IF I held my hand right against the fan. Even a foot away, it just felt like a normal very low blowing fan. I checked in hours later, and the temperature was the same, but the humidity in the area increased by 4%. I have a thermometer that sets about 2 feet above where I placed the Evapolar. I would NOT recommend this unless you put your face or not body part directly in front of the unit within 6 inches. I would give it zero stars if possible!
