I rated this low because it has what I consider a design flaw. When using the attachments the rotating floor brush continuously runs in place which can't be good for the machine or the surface it's sitting on, which in my case is carpet. I've owned numerous Bissels in the past which all had a shut off feature when using attachments. Bissell should at least state this in their product details
