I’ve recently adopted a Black Mouth Cur rescue dog that has severe separation anxiety, so my vet encouraged me to try this vest, combined with intensive obedience training. I was hopeful when it arrived, after reading all the great reviews. I don’t know why, unless it has recently gone way downhill. Production must have been outsourced to a place with cheap materials and labor because the shirt is absolutely terrible, and useless. I noticed right away how poor the quality was. It is just cheap, extremely thin, shapeless material that would not even make a good cleaning rag. It is not a ‘jacket’ or even a hoodie material. The Velcro began to detach within a week-stitches pulled out with ease. My dog is 66 pounds . It did not affect him at all, and the sound of the Velcro is extremely loud when taking the shirt off. He quickly associated the shirt with the awful sound, I think, and would sit or lay down when I tried to put it on him. It is also cumbersome to put on. Training and exercise, and patience are far more helpful than this worthless piece of fabric. 45 dollars is outrageous. Returning. Save your money and time !
