Purchased from AMZN March 2016. 2 yrs 7mos later the plastic strap that holds the front & back blade covers snaps, on its own, without the fan even running. Called Rowenta. $30 for replacement fan blade assembly when all I need is the plastic strap. Let's see: $65 fan, Rowenta demands 50% more for a cheap part on a junk fan that didn't even last 3 yrs. Easy decision. Never purchase Rowenta.
