Wow. Probably one if the worst books I've ever read. How this got 4 1/2 stars I will NEVER understand. The plot is good and had potential but it wasn't developed well enough and was quite frankly downright bizarre in areas (what was the whole scene about watching the other couple?? That was completely out of place with the rest if the book). Neither of the characters were likable. In fact, I couldn't stand them! Tristan was an a$$ and I'm not sure why one reader described Nina as bright. WHAT?? She was one of the dumbest females leads I've ever read! And characters aside, the writing was unbelievably poor. The structure of the book itself didn't make any sense. There weren't natural breaks when there was a scene change and I had to go back and reread things several times because I got confused at what was happening. I felt like the author was all over the place much of the book. I'm a voracious reader and I admit I'm a tough critic and I appreciate other reviews of books I'm considering next on my reading list. My suggestion to the author is to take time to develop your characters more deeply so you can connect with your audience. This was a big miss for me.
