OK to use as an hour counter, not ok for accurate rpm's.
This tachometer was totally innacurate, the rpm's registered were way too high. The instructions say to wind the wire 6-10 times around the spark plug wire, less if the rpm's are too high and more if rpm's are too low. Well that defeats the purpose, how am I to know if the rpm reading is too high or low?! Isn't that the purpose of this instrument to begin with?
