A retelling of a much better book than this one.
If you love "The Velveteen Rabbit," buy that instead of this. If you love "Toy Story," buy that instead of this. This is a cross between the two, but does not have the beauty and richness of the first one, and misses the humor and childlike faith and love of the second. This is twaddle, which I am sure will be made into a animated film. Hopefully they will get a better script writer for it. This is written at a 3rd to 4th grade level, without the rich vocab you would expect from Rowling. I would say it's written for k-2nd graders, but the scary parts are harsh. Buy the Velveteen Rabbit instead.
