Heaven help America .....
There is something very pathologically frightening about this book .... it seriously divides Americans even further than they were before Miss Sarah entered the arena. Many claim to admire her and rally around the belief that "she is one of US" .... and if this is true, we have many in this country who are whiners, quitters, twisters of the truth and people with 'herd mentality.'
Many want to see her run for president so they can have someone in office that is "one of US" - and frankly, although I have an MS in Nursing, I cringe at the thought of having someone 'just like me' in that office! I want someone with amazing brains, foresight and extraordinary traits .... not some luke-warm intellect that sees only one side of the coin. I don't want a person like Miss Sarah who blames without thinking, but someone who thinks without blaming.
For someone who professes to have been a Journalism Major, I wonder why she used a ghostwriter instead of just sitting down and writing the book herself. Afterall, she stepped down from her job as governor, so the time-element was certainly at her disposal, so why go the route of second-hand reporting? I believe her ego far exceeds her intelligence and she is a lime-light seeker, going for all the money she can as she polarizes this country for her own selfish goals.
True, I handed over hard-earned $$$ for this book which helps increase her coffers, but felt the need to hear her side of the story she believes to be true. After reading it, I was even more convinced that this country is being further dumbed-down by carnival-like snake charmers.
