Yet another disappointing slipper on my never-ending quest to find something to wear in the house. These ones started out great - they fit perfectly (even if somewhat snug) at the beginning, were soft and comfortable, and had okay grip on the floor. Not great, but good enough. Well... All that lasted about 3 days. After that, they started stretching and getting looser, and the bottoms started sliding more and more as they collected dust and micro-particles from the floor. We have a lot of hardwood and tile floors in the house, and steep uncovered smooth stairs, so I NEED slippers that are truly non-slip! These are certainly NOT. It's been just a few weeks, and I'm done. Not only do they slip like skates across the floor now, but they are so wide now that they barely stay on my foot! I got the smallest size - there's no smaller I can go, and even if I did, they wouldn't fit the length of my foot. They are just too wide for their length, and because they are open back, my foot just slides out. And today I actually fell down the stairs, thanks to these slippers, and really hurt my wrist and twisted my foot. So I'm ready to ritually burn them and dance on their grave. I hate it when people review shoes the minute they take them out of the package, and then never bother to come back with an update once the shoe has been broken in. I mean, breaking shoes in is a thing - everybody knows it's a thing. They fit differently once you've been wearing them for a while! So your same-day review means nothing. What it does is inflate the ratings and give people a false sense of trust, so they buy the shoes thinking they're 5-stars, only to discover that they are 5-stars for 3 days, and then devolve into dangerous traps waiting to trip you down the stairs. So, people, please don't review shoes right away. Wear them first. Long enough. And then give us your thoughts based on experience, not on your first impression! My thoughts on these shoes, after wearing them for almost a month and almost breaking appendages as a result: don't waste your money.
