First off, I have been a cop for 12 years and work patrol. My last light was a stream light and lasted a decade. This one on the other hand is unreliable and NOT SAFE for anyone on patrol. The light fails to turn on about 30 percent of the time, and randomly shuts off. For anyone that works patrol, you know this makes an unsafe situation (There is nothing worse than looking for a suspect in the dark when your light fails). I spoke with Amazon customer support, and they said since the light is past the 30 day window there is nothing they can do. I stayed on hold with streamlight for an extended period of time, only to wait for an e-mail that never arrived. In short, if you are a patrol cop DO NOT BUY.
